From upgrading heating and cooling systems to improving insulation or installing a smart thermostat, Owen Electric offers programs that make it simple to cut costs. Touchstone Energy Home: Build an energy-efficient new home and reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 30 %, with rebates up to $750. (owenelectric.com
SimpleSaver Bring Your Own Thermostat and Air Conditioner Program: Install an eligible WiFi thermostat and qualify for an annual rebate of $10 per thermostat per home (up to two thermostats), while taking control of your energy use. If you purchased your thermostat on or after March 2, 2019, you may be eligible for an additional, one-time $100 enrollment rebate per thermostat.
You may enroll your central air conditioner for the SimpleSaver program as well. We will pay you up to $20 annually for qualifying central air conditioner you enroll. By enrolling, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20.
Heat Pump Incentives: Upgrade from electric resistance heat or an older heat pump to a modern heat pump with rebates ranging from $500 to $1,000 — more comfort for your home at a lower cost. Purchasing a heat pump water heater? You may be eligible for a $250 rebate.
Button‑Up Program: Schedule a free home energy audit and receive rebates for insulation and air-sealing improvements. When you weatherize your home, we’ll pay you $100/Btuh up to $1,875. Air sealing your HVAC system? You can qualify for a rebate of $500. This program requires pre- and post- project blower door test, so be sure to contact Owen Electric prior to making improvements.
CARES Low‑Income Weatherization: This program seeks to assist qualifying members in making energy efficient improvements to their home through their local Community Action office. For more information, contact Owen Electric or your local Community Action office.
