Two of the best improvements you can make to your home to lower your heating and cooling costs are to increase the amount of insulation in your home and to stop outside air from getting in. Owen Electric's Button Up program helps you increase your home's efficiency and comfort while helping you save money on your electric bills.
Your home must be at least two years old and use electricity as the primary heat source.
To qualify for rebates, schedule an appointment for a free, in-home Energy Audit to determine areas where efficiency improvements can be made. A heat-loss calculation will be done before you make recommended improvements and then again after improvements to determine the exact amount of your incentive payment. When you weatherize your home, we'll pay you $100/Btuh up to $1,875. Air sealing your HVAC system? You can receive $500. Air seal measures require a pre- and post-blower door test, so be sure and contact Owen Electric prior to having work performed.

Owen Electric provides an incentive to the CAA implementing the project on behalf of the member. This program is available to members who qualify for weatherization and energy efficiency services through their local CAA.
